How Flexible are Our Interiors?

We offer set interiors which consist of shelf stacks, shelves, dividers, supports and hanging rails and which fit to the back wall and sit behind the sliding doors to provide storage solutions in a colour and design of your choice. When creating and building your sliding wardrobe, you will be presented with internal designs to fit your opening width at different prices and you can chose to add one, add components from the extras section or place the order without interiors. As you design your wardrobe using our state of the art 3D design tool, you will see 3, 4 or 5 interior options to choose from out of the 6 that we offer as summarised below,

Flexibility of the Shelf Stack Position

5 of the 6 designs we offer include at least 1 shelf stack and the position of this is generally shown as central, however the shelf stack can be placed wherever you want within the space as long as it doesn’t leave any of the shelves or hanging rails too long without support (approx. 150cm). You can also order additional shelf stacks, drawers and shelving on our extras page when designing your wardrobe. Width & Height of the Shelf Stack

All shelf stacks are sent out at 207cm high and can be reduced in height when installed depending on how high you want the top of the stack to be. We generally recommend this is not less than 190cm if you want double hanging below. On the website we offer 1 width of shelf stack – 50cm wide, however we can also make shelf stacks at 40cm, 60cm, 70cm and 80cm wide and so the standard shelf stack width of 50cm can be changed to another size on request once the order has been placed.

Soft Close Drawers

All shelf stacks have the ability to accommodate up to 6 soft close drawers in the same 10 colours available for the shelf stacks. To include drawers, you simply add the quantity you would like on the extras section of the 3D Design Tool. On the website we offer 1 width of soft close drawer – 50cm wide, however we can also make soft close drawers at 40cm, 60cm, 70cm and 80cm wide to suite our shelf stacks and so the standard drawer width of 50cm can be changed to another size on request once the order has been placed.

 

Length of Shelves, Dividers & Rails

All shelves and dividers are sent out at either 1720mm, 2070mm or 2800mm long and all hanging rails are sent out at 3000mm long which gives you flexibility if you do decide to move the shelf stack or rearrange the interior layout. You can also choose to have single or double hanging as well as being able to choose the exact position of your hanging rails without having to change the order. Dividers are useful when you want to split an area into both double and single hanging or you have a single span of over 150cm in which you would like hanging.

 

Additional Shelves, Dividers & Rails

We sell 2800mm long shelving and dividers at depths of 223mm, 318mm, 450mm, 640mm and 900mm as an alternative or addition to one of our set interior designs. We also sell 2070mm long shelves and dividers at 450mm and 223mm wide, 1720mm long shelves and dividers at 450mm wide and thinner boards for shallow shelving or shelving supports at 2800mm long and ether 87mm or 130mm wide. All of our shelving, dividers and supports are 18mm thick and are available in 10 different finishes. Interior Depth

Our standard interior depth is 450mm and this applies to shelf stacks and shelving, however we also supply the shelves and dividers at 87mm, 130mm, 223mm, 318mm, 640mm and 900mm deep and you can create any depth of 90cm or less using these sizes and reducing the depth (by cutting down at the back of the shelf or divider) accordingly during installation. Our shelf stacks are only available at 450mm deep and you can see more about depth in our Depth Guide.

 

Chimneys and Loft / Attic Angled Spaces

We understand that sometimes customers have unusual spaces – whether it be a low level angled space in a loft, a beam or column or pipe in the wardrobe space, or a tall space with a chimney in the middle – we stand ready to work with you to design and supply the components you need to make your space work. Chimney spaces normally have full depth hanging and shelving on each side and narrow shelving or a TV on the chimney breast itself. Angled spaces normally have single hanging with a horizontal shelf and vertical dividers and low level spaces may just have shelving. Anything is possible and we can support you with what works best.

 

Freestanding Bedside Furniture

We now offer a range of 6 freestanding bedside units, covering 2 different heights, 4 of which include soft close drawers and all are colour matched to our 10 interior and casing colours. These high quality bedside tables, units and chests can be used outside the wardrobe in the room or within the wardrobe as part of your interiors. If you do want to add freestanding furniture to your order, please add them on the extras page when designing your wardrobe. You can of course also purchase chests of drawers from elsewhere and then fit them into our interiors, usually below the hanging and often between the shelf stack and a wall or end panel.
